Are you referring to your dashboard?
If not, then you need read no further.Try this. Go to https://bdsmlr.com/settings
and disable the dashboard "infinite scroll". (And [save], of course.)
Reload the dashboard, and see if you get "<<Previous" and "Next>>" buttons at the bottom.
If so, click "Next", and see what happens.
If you can see the URL on your device, you should see something like "latest=636421933" in the URL for the second page. If the number is zero, then the problem is someone you're following. If that's the case, get back to me, here, and we'll go through the arduous fix for that. -
I think what I've proposed, above, is a possible workaround for it, but not a fix.
The "followers bug" (which, btw, happens in people's archives, too), acts like a divide-by-zero error, so it's server side.
I wonder if they just took the site down for about 5 minutes, and optimized the database/s, if that would do anything. If nothing else, it'd be less prone (in theory) to dB call-overload. -
Dennis, I think what you'll have to do is go through everyone that you follow;
https://bdsmlr.com/following
...and see whom you're following that has an issue with their blog. Then just unfollow them (at least temporarily).
By the way, one issue you might encounter isn't the problem; and that's the 3-grid bug. If you go straight to someone's blog and see a "500 error", just append "/archive" to it. Actually, in anyone's /archive is where you'll see if they've got a divide-by-zero post that's causing your dashboard to get stuck.
If you follow lots of folks, then it'll be arduous doing this. However, there's one shortcut you can try; estimate how long you've had this problem, and only, first, do this for the followee's that have updated within that time.
