"A Practice in Communication"
Have you seen the latest entry on bdsmlr's blog The Munch?
Why am I commenting on this collection of empty phrases? Which, apart from so much blah blah, contains one core message: FORK OUT MONEY AND BUY BDSMLR PREMIUM? Well what gets me is a section in this drivel headed "A Practice in Communication". That's rich coming from admins who for the past two years have steadfastly refused to establish regular, reliable, responsible and trustworthy communication with the user base they rely on to earn an income. Guys - don't pontificate and preach wine where clearly you hardly ever fork out a sip of water! Besides, the community know about talking to one another. On your site, we actually do whenever chat works. (Its regular breakdowns actually curtail this practice, right?)
I went to my blog today to exercise - here's another phrase from your advertising piece - "freedom of kink". I needed to delete the bdsmlr cookies twice just to be able to open pages and to avoid the Server 500 Error thing. THAT's stuff you could address before you give us endless sermons filled with amateur psychology and near content-free rhetoric.
One more thing. "When you’re ready to support the community", you write, asking us to buy "premium". Well what about those dodgy pop up and pop under ads you've been forcing on us? And all the other ads? Aren't you getting money from that shit? Don't tell us we ought to be "ready to support the community". We ARE doing it already, right?
Which, by the way, is why I've been taking the liberty of being increasingly critical of bdsmlr. I know it's a free site - but free only up to a point....
ADDED: I SEE A NOTE SAYING "POST IS PENDING APPROVAL". CENSORSHIP NOW? WOW!
