How do I get videos to work?

I see people posting and rebloging videos all the time, but it is extremely rare if I can get a video to play, regardless if I am using my phone or either of my computers, and regardless of the browser too. 

 

On the rare chance I do get one to play, it's extremely rare that it plays more than the first few seconds. 

 

Is there an extension or something else I'm missing?

  I have the same problem. This has been an ongoing issue at this site for a long time.

  Your best choice is to ditch bdsmlr for newtumbl and there videos will be working in much lager files, it's almost 1 year already with this issues, none of the old videos I've posted ever came back, and it's a burden even to download much more to see.

  If you use chrome in incognito mode they work.
