Same issue here, with both .gifs and .jpg images, both WELL under the 10MB limit.

It's not working here. To be fair, for about two weeks it did work, so let's give them a well-earned break. Besides, what's the point of posting stuff if most people won't be having it displayed anyway, because they haven't been informed that seeing fresh posts only works if they enable infinite scroll?

Besides, who wants a porn sharing site which actually lets you share porn? That's just SO conventional :-)

    OS & BROWSERS:
MAC OS Big Sur 11.6: Firefox 93.0 (64-bit)
    Ipad Mini 4 IOS 15.0.1: Safari 15

Same here. Doesn't matter whether I use my Mac or my Ipad. The problem's started within the past few days.

Third day in a row - and not a word from the devs. They keep thanking  us for our "continued patience". How about rewarding that by fixing stuff permanently? Just a thought. We've been patient since the beginning of 2021, now approaching year's end. Patience running out here for good.

Speaking for myself...and probably for pretty much everyone else here...I hope your account is banned outright and that you get a really embarrassing form of cancer.

I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone.. but I'll take and support Bearakkgm's comment in the manner to which it's intended.
Bdsm Dom.. your frustration may be warranted but you're out of line with your comment. 👎

This - in case you have a sense of humor - may amuse you. It's from their blog, themunch.bdsmlr.com, posted an hour ago (it says on the post, the link to which, by the way, is hidden in a reply to someone else inexplicably complaining about not being able to post, can you believe it!):

    Can't upload pics?

We are experiencing problems with uploading with our hosting provider. We've also been working to move to another hosting provider to avoid problems like this in the future. This has been the top priority for the last few weeks. We will share more info as soon as we can.

Actually, the people "experiencing problems with uploading" is us, the users.  You have been the ones CAUSING those problems. Just saying.

And if you've been "working to move to another hosting provider" why not tell us in a timely manner so we may be prepared for temporary problems - instead of posting a brief notice on the third day of yet another period of server trouble? Especially if this has been "top priority for the last few weeks"?

Oh, and at the end of that brief notice, you omitted to thank us "for our continued patience". That's just so RUDE :-)

A concern... I have stored up, let’s say a lot of images under my queue. if we migrate to another storage system, will my images under my queue go away?

So that post on the munch has been edited. Originally the stated reason for the problem this time was this:

"We are experiencing problems with uploading because our hosting provider put us on hold due to a child porn report. We have deleted the offending image and have appealed the case with our image host. "

So it seems that this time it really was more some blogger to blame for this problem and this would also explain why it is taking a longer time to fix.

JackNasty - That's intriguing. Until recently, the recurring "cannot post" problem was declared to be due to flawed code (at least, that's what I remember), sometimes coupled with a plea for programmers to join the dev team, which on other occasions has been described as currently consisting of precisely one member, offering a strange definition of "team".

If the reason this time was not technical, code-based or financial (as in hosts not having been paid on time) but child porn - would it not have been a brilliant idea to use this to make another appeal to the community, blasted all over the site in CAPITALS, not to post underage stuff or any other illegal crap? Something along the lines of "If you persist with this shit you'll bring down bdsmlr because nobody will host us any more"?

Instead, if indeed there's been an edit of the original post, they've even taken out the scant reference to child pornography and instead gone back to the customary "we're experiencing problems, yada, yada, yada". I admit that I find it all somewhat puzzling, to put it as mildly as I can.

The original post did actually start with a bit about "actively fighting against child pornography" and I'm puzzled by it being edited out later.

But on a brighter note, the issue seems to have been resolved and uploads work again (for now).
