Anyone else notice the queue random option not working?

Along with everyone else I can post images again (yay!). But I now think my queue is just being published in uploaded order instead of the random one I have it set to.

I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this because I don't want to spam out anymore posts than I already have to check if this is actually the case.

  It hasn't been working for a long time.  It was one of my favorite features with the queue.

  Yes, it doesn't work for me neither, it is the best feature for me here, allowing to mass upload and post randomly.
  I opened a request to solve it, they just told they forwarded the request to the dev team, but i didnt hear for them since last week.
  Can you open a request too? At first they told me they didnt any issue with the feature, so i thought maybe it is just my blog.

  It's been broken since February. The Dev team is aware of the problem, and there are numerous tickets to fix it. (A new one every now and then doesn't hurt, since it's a gentle reminder when it comes from someone who hasn't submitted one.)

  Right now, it's low on the priority list. Until chat is fully functional again, and they stabilize the image uploader, I kinda agree with that decision since those two features are more important to the core functionality of the site. I can't say that the fixing queue randomization is next on the list, though.

  This is probably one of the easiest to fix features. It's probably just a single faulty database query.

  Had they a github account, where you could see the PHP and JS code and make code suggestions, it would have been fixed by users half a year ago. Same as probably most other bugs.

  I also would appreciate it a lot, if this bug would be fixed. Far more than anything chat related.

  7 months later still not fixed.

  Incidentally, neither is chat. And image loading is wonky, at best.

  I forgot that it was one of the original reasons I abandoned my blog over a year ago. Seriously, this sort of fix is trivial and the fact that it has been broken for at least 14 months speaks to other, systemic things, being extremely broken.

  Looks like as of May 2023 it’s still not working and my queue is being published in the order it was uploaded. Does anyone know if it started working at any point?
