Today, we celebrate one month of silence from the BSMLR team. On May 5th, they announced that "the bdsmlr blog will be implemented soon" and that "the issues will be solved faster starting in 2 weeks, as far as we expand the team".
Since then, against the backdrop of more and more members abandoning this site, their github page has not been updated. Meanwhile, issues persist, new ones come and go, chat remains a complete disaster, the queue seems fucked, "support" fails to respond in a timely manner, servers are not working, and the list goes on.
But here's a quote to warm the heart. It's from the same people who promised things would pick up "in two weeks". On March 21, they wrote on twitter:
"Communicating with you and having your voice heard is important to us. [...] We could also publish a daily status update on Github or Uservoice to let you know what we're doing every day. We'd love to hear your suggestions too so let us know. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding!"
This is the thing: Don't just tell us that communicating with us "is important" to you. Actually Talk To Us. And don't thank us for our "patience and understanding". Earn it!
We (still) love this site and would love for it to function. But not knowing what the hell is going on, and a growing sense that you don't give a shit about the criticism, the pleas and the suggestions spread out on this zendesk blog, make it hard to remain patient. You've been treating us with disrespect and seeming indifference - and even the most patient and understanding among us are growing tired of it.
