When I add a message to chat it does not work at all can you please fix this

  Same for me and everyone I know. Can't communicate with anyone. Y'all are a disaster here lately.

  It's cause they broke chat, something they coded in results in 500 errors on every message... Their new newmessage2 endpoint doesn't work the way it's meant to

  I can send messages again, I think but I noticed this today: https://chat.bdsmlr.com/ which is a wrapper around an existing service (Kiwi IRC), I don't know what they are aiming to do with it.

  I noticed this because on some of the tags on posts had a speech bubble (same as the one for commenting on a post) and it linked me there, with the channel being the tag I'd clicked on... SO they might be abandoning chat in favour of using Kiwi IRC...

  Noticed that too, wasn't impressed. Also requires yet another registration if one wants to use a verified nick.

  Still down for me. I type a message, hit send... and then when I check later it suggests I never attempted to send a message at all.
