Just my opinion as to where the site is now

The promise of better communication is a bad joke by now. How difficult can it be to set up an official channel?

What can be the reasons for not making public what are the issues they are working on? I mean: Is it really so efficient to receive the same bug reports over and over again?

PS: Ariella, I like your posts so much. Please let us know if you move elsewhere.

The best way to communicate with us?  Why, right on the site, like they did before the "Big Server Crash".

How about right here on the forum? I mean.... Here we are.

I don't buy the DNS crap. What they probably were trying to avoid saying is that their routing tables are a mess.

Ariella Haverguess: Hey, Ariella, love your blog. So, I was taking part in a discussion about the chat being broken here & I was just responding to Ortho Slice & Micheal Gorup when I just randomly decided to check out Github. Imagine my shock to see an official BDSMLR page with a verified developer from BDSMLR posting updates! They even posted an update about what they did today & it includes information about the chat. I went over to Twitter expecting to see another update saying they created this update page & nothing. I have no idea why they wouldn't talk about it but I hope checking it out helps you.

Not sure I can post links here but just go over to Github then type bdsmlr-development in the search box.

It's amazing anything is getting done, seemingly adverts are more important than basic site functionality and if their Git updates are anything to go by, then things are REALLY bad.

Hell, I had a ticket open regarding something and their support responded with a password reset link, which was entirely unrelated to the actual ticket!

    It's just a shame.

... go over to Github then type bdsmlr-development in the search box.

    Github: April, 13 2021 fixes

platform improvement: the test environment is set up. We will test changes before deploying it to production. It's a good practice

So, setting up a staging server. There's a novel idea.

Next step devs .. try and run a validator / Linter on the output.

    see some surprises !
