Yes, in Firefox in my case. Mobile and desktop.

I have an open support ticket; I encourage you to open one too. Ads are one thing, full screen pop-ups are another.

This is definitely not a bug: It's a feature. A very annoying one for sure. I fully understand the need to create revenue. I still find it irritating that they introduce such an irritating way of placing ads while many basic functionalities with probably easy fixes are still out of order. (Random queue not working, many avatar's not displaying in time line just to name two).

BTW: The same thing happens when you are browsing a users' archive and you click on the link for the next page.

You can avoid it by opening the image link in a new background tab or by typing the page number in the URL bar (...?page=2 e.g.).

It should be possible to overwrite the responsible functions with client side JavaScript. I'll give it a try after Easter.

The most annoying part, however, is still the lack of communication. There's no way of even knowing which bugs are acknowledged.

We can at least be sure of one thing: The many lost posts and images will be lost forever. If they didn't manage to recover them in more than two months, they will never be able to.

I use Firefox, Oprah, Brave, and Safari, and it happens on all of them.  I used to only happen on the main page of my blog; now it happens anywhere and everywhere.  I've also noticed that blogs I've been following for years, while still showing up in my feed, are labeled as "follow" when I hover the cursor over their avatar.  Also noticing blogs I've never saw before showing up in my feed.
