Same this is actually really ridiculous how long the site has been down with no other updates other than their maintenance they did the entire day

They have said multiple times that they couldn't guarantee an ETA and they're posting regular updates on Twitter. We don't know exactly what they're doing or how complex it is. I personally would rather have the site be down for a day or two and work properly when it's back up. We all need to be patient and let them do their thing so that the site works better in the long run. I genuinely think they're doing their best. It's not a big corporate operation with tons of resources.

It has been years and the site is still crap. They are ripe for anyone to come and just knock them off. Looking around, personally for any other service. This is a crapfest too much.

Home page, content feed Still Very Unstable, too slow loading new post. Even after refreshing page multiple times. After system update. To be clear I have high speed internet fiber optic gigabit broadband. It's not my internet and yes I cleared/deleted cookies before logging back on.

Like others have reported; "three grey boxes that flash a few times where posts should be, and then often nothing." Or the home page just struggles to load new post at bottom of the web page. But this was happing before update.

Have any of y'all opened a ticket under 'submit a request'?  I did early this morning (around 2 EST), but haven't heard anything yet.  I'm sure I'm not the only one who did.

I tried to post a few problems i was having a few weeks ago...3 times in fast and all 3 times my post was deleted...in a span of 11 minutes.

I agree there Coll Zombee...we migrated here and we can migrate again...tell me where the grass is greener

I find it funny that the ads still work perfectly, you think they would shut them down temporarily to help with bandwidth. Before they lose every "customer"

after multiple clearings of cache and cookies, it appears you either have a functioning personal blog and non-functioning dashboard or a functioning dashboard and non-functioning personal blog. it constantly flips between the two states. how many more days before we see real progress? how many users will never come back after this fiasco?

My blogs are pretty much up and running.  Some of the icons are missing on the back pages, but I can still reblog.  I followed the directions at this link, https://its.uiowa.edu/support/article/719 to clear cache and cookies.  I use several browsers, and bdsmlr is now mostly working on all.

Yeah, it seems to be pretty much working for me again. Particularly on Chrome.

On my PC, My blog still appears with placeholders instead of images.  Cleared cache & cookies, rebooted, no change.  Most page of others looks the same (maybe on image in ten shows up).

The archive of my page shows up properly with mini images.

I hope the work is continuing and blog with be back w/o errors or reporting/reblogging needed by me.

The only thing that works is the advertising.

So, this was resolved for me the other day when I went in to try clearing the cookies again for Chrome (on my phone) and noticed somehow that by default, that was only clearing them for the last week. Found the option to clear Chrone's *entire* cookie history, and then the site worked normally after I logged back in.
