Captions not saving in Posts from Drafts

For the past year since drafts were introduced, I've found posts made from my drafts to be inconsistent regarding keeping the captions. I'll save the draft and the caption would be there. However, when I publish the post, the caption is gone. Also, the post appears in my draft like a duplicate even though it is clearly published on my blog. I've opened a ticket on this before but the issue persists for myself and many others. Is there a remedy on the horizon?

    Hello there!

    We have rolled updates for this and it absolutely should not be an issue anymore. Could you please give us the ticket number and let's take a closer look at it?

    Im having this issue as well! its been very inconsistent. Sometimes it saves and messes up the text I use for a hyperlink and sometimes it just completely deletes everything??

    I'm still getting the same issue guys. My posts from Apr 8 and 5, the captions didn't save. I had to edit them after they posted to add the caption. Only the posts in Apr 4 retained the caption.

    Posts from Apr 10 and 11th the captions saved. Posts I made on the 14th they did not. Had to edit after the fact again. Any updates on this?

    Pornwithtext we will get back to the ticket when we can. We are very busy at the moment as it is due to the huge spike in traffic we're having due to the pandemic and that's causing us to be spread quite thin at times when it comes to non cirtical bugs. We will look into it ASAP when we can of course.
