A page for just chat/messages

It would be awesome if there was a page I could go to on the site that was just for chat/messages. I don't have great internet service sometimes so it is painful to have to load the full site with all the images just so I can read and reply to messages.

  We actually had this before we made a big changes to chat which required it to be built from the beginning again. We will be bringing it back. It's something we were to bring back soon after the change but we have had to postpone it for too long. We're on it soon!

  It would be good if date and times of messages were available, too, so you could refer people to "see my message of 16th Jan at 1430"

  When this comes it would be great if we could delete individual messages that we sent or that are sent to us instead of having to delete or clear the whole conversation. Of course this would only effect the conversation on my side not the side of the person that sent the messages. this would be much like text messages on your phone where I can delete individual messages without having to delete the whole conversation but it does not effect the messages on the senders side.

  We actually added this a while ago. We have not added deletion of individual messages at the moment. We're considering it though.

  "We actually added this a while ago." - does this mean the time and date of messages are available? I can't see them
