How do I spot bots?

I have a few new followers who always like things twice but never reblog, and their blogs look similar just a couple of posts often of text.

  There are very few bots in our platform, we do not like them (who does?) and we have put tons of efforts into blocking the ways they operate and we have made it quite difficult for them. Such likers are often actual users but you possibly see double likes if you have reblogged your own post (a bug in our system we have not yet addressed).

  When I'm reading my dashboard via Chrome on Android, I frequently have to hit the heart two times to get it to show red.  I wonder if this results in double likes?
