Post directly into queue?

I think I might be missing something simple: I can't figure out how to create a new post and have it go into my queue.

I can reblog into the queue; there is the function to mass upload images and have them go to the queue; but what if I just want to create a normal post, from the dashboard, and have it go to the queue?

  Ah -- actually, it looks like you can go to the queue page, and initiate your post from there, and then it will go into the queue.
