Ello All.

I can not get GIFs to work in my Avatar. Are there any sizes, lengths, etc, that we need to format  GIFs to make them work as avatars?

  Hello there!

  Can't be done for now, gifs do not work as avatars (there might be few which were uploaded in the early days of the site though). We might change this in the future with proper GIF resize getting done on our side, but for now avatar gifs do not get animated. Biggest reason for this being is the size and bandwidth use for mobile carrier data users.
