Why? Not trying to be critical, but what do you think would be the value added to this site to have that feature? I don't know if I necessarily see how it's valuable.

I suppose you’re right, I may have been a little drunk when I thought of it.

Content often gets grouped. If I do a search, then load my queue based on that search, my next several posts will be the same general theme. I may want my queue to be more of a general mix

This is hugely helpful. - Its a feature I used regularly on my Tumblr Queue.

I use the queue for most of my posts and i usually go looking for a particular topic in the searches.  I queue the posts I like and they end up in my queue.  Depending on how much time I have that may be a couple of hundred posts.

It will take a few days for those posts to all be posted but its not really a refection of my blog as a whole so I would like to randomise my posts so they are less specific and more varied than the way that I look for posts.

There is already a request for this feature on this page. - it had quite a few votes so I know I'm not alone :)

Adding my voice to this request: not a feature for every user but a nice feature to add nonetheless.

When finding content to reblog, it is often following a similar topic (or a list of tags) and as such will end up being reposted by our queues in the same orders they were added. As much as this is not a problem, it would be nice to have the next item in the queue be a random selection from all the entries in the queue.
