Drop in Number of Followers

I am pretty sure that I am not imagining this but yesterday I had over 3100 followers and today that has dropped to around 2500.

 

Has there been a purge or is my blog just suddenly very unpopular?

  We were simply running the counters again, in some cases it took a while to update. However everything should be back to normal!
