Tumblr had an option to show your top posts at the beginning of your blog, and when you clicked into it, it showed the top 10 posts (by notes, I believe) for your blog. I think this is a great way to quickly scroll through someone's blog to see if they are worth following. It can definitely be an option for you yourself to turn on for your own blog, so if you dont want it shown, no one else sees it either.

  Yes, this would be cool. I looked at those top posts on Tumblr every time I checked out a new blog.
