Blocking and Deleting Conversations

If I delete a conversation in chat or block an individual, does that mean the person I have blocked or was in the conversation has had that conversation completely removed also?

No. They will see the messages, they will not be deleted and they're able to view them up to the point you block them. If you delete a conversation the messages will stay.
