Will currently “broken” photos display again?
With question marks showing on new and old photos, will these ever display again, or should we give up on new posts until they fix it, if ever they do! I submitted a ticket 3 days ago, and have heard nothing.

They have in the past!
If you find that other people are liking them but you can not see them, then toggling webp's in your settings can help.
There is multiple errors so it doesn't always help.
At the current time with my blog I can see 100% of the images. I have: "Don't use webP images (webP makes the browsing faster as they are smaller in size)" unchecked
