Warning: Excessive Size Avatars
It appears that there is no upper size limit on avatar images. This results in a scenario where if anyone with an extremely large image as their avatar interacts with your post – or worse, if you happen to follow them – it leads to significant lag in your feed or potentially even cause your browser to crash, depending on your devices capabilities.
here is an example:

Sorry if this is your blog, but I had no choice but to block you as Bdsmlr would not load due to your avatar. I am happy to unblock you if you remove your avatar.
I have not reported this issue to staff.

I found another one with a huge avatar. Not that massive, but big enough. 2 Meg. reese4.bdsmlr.com .
I just noticed that both the one you cited, and the one I'm mentioning, here, now both show a tiny square.
I think I've seen other folks mention a problem like this with images.
I wonder if what they're doing, now, instead of truncating large images (which really sucks for animated gifs), if they're not just letting everything of every size through for a while, then just outright delete it.
