sharing videos
Hi, i have a problem.
Until recently, right clicking on the video and copy the link, then clicking on the link pasted on a page opened the video... Now, the direct download starts... Only with recent videos... How come? Thanks

It is probably due to a header update, without seeing a link it is just a guess as it could be browser related.
Although there was a cdn update which has made some videos return an unknown error.
I am guessing you are wanting it to play in the browser to overcome the small video bug?

It is more than likely due to a "header" change on the video.
The only way I can think of to fix this being a user, is to use an extension such as
Requestly and change the "Response Header" to:
Content-type: video/mp4
whilst matching any urls containing ".mp4"
Weirdly I can not find a video with the small video bug! - have they fixed it?

The links are identical to the old ones except for the wording, previously they contained cdn013 now cdn07...
Here is an example of a link

The link you have provided has confirmed it is a header issue.
in this case the header is:
Content-Type: application/octet-stream
You can override this with Requestly.
To use Requestly, install the extension for chrome/firefox etc
once installed close the page that it takes you to.
Click on the extension Icon on your browser toolbar (You may need to click the puzzle icon on chrome to display more icons)
Then Click on "Modify Headers"
(You may need to get past some instructional videos at this point)
Afterwards A page will load.
- First check to see if a "Create Rule" button is located on the top right hand side, if it is not then refresh the page.
- Next type the name of the rule: "mp4"
- Next to where it says "Enter url here or leave this field empty to apply rule to all url’s..." type in: ".mp4"
- Click on "Response Headers"
- Click on "+ Add Response Headers Rule" if one is not already started.
- Click on the "Add" drop down menu and change it to "Override"
- Type in: "Content-type" in the header name box
- Type in: "video/mp4" in the header value
- Click "*Create Rule" (located top right) (It may say "Save Rule")
after this is done correctly the video will now load in the browser as usual.
